Pink Pepper Patch
How funny? A pink pepper patch, you ask? Odd, I know. The title popped into my head but the idea itself is more than just humorous, it’s quite nifty.
I found myself in a pickle while trying to decide where to plant a garden. Time and space all play a part so what to do? Container gardening!
My all-time favorite color is pink. You already know I love to plant stuff in unique ways (remember Grandma’s Washtub?). So throw in a little pink spray paint, an old wheelbarrow, pepper plants, some potting soil and voila – a pink pepper patch!
There's a variety of peppers: cayenne, jalepeno, and sweet bell. I can't wait to see how they do!
I’m already fantasizing about how I’ll use the peppers in meals… omelets, burgers, spaghetti, meatloaf, soup. The list goes on and on. Yum!
You better believe I’ll be updating you on this. Get ready for future pictures and stories about the pink pepper patch.
It’s pretty awesome to have a mini garden on wheels. If the plants are getting too much sun, I can roll them into the shade. And if they need more sun, I can roll them out. And if it rains for days on end, instead of ending up with drowned, beat up plants, I can roll them under a shelter.
Yep, my pink pepper patch on wheels is pretty cool if you ask me….
Have you ever planted flowers or produce in a fun way? Do you enjoy gardening? Do you have a green thumb – or is growing a nightmare for you? And, from the title, did you think I was really growing pink peppers?
(Just joking!)
